The Capital of Myanmar – Nay Phyi Taw
Nay Pyi Taw is the new national capital of Myanmar, located near Pyinmana Township in Mandalay Region. Nay Pyi Taw means “Royal City”. The country’s administrative center, it is approximately 320 kilometers north of Yangon.
You can get experience at the National Museum to include Burmese art and ancient artifacts and also golden stupa of Uppatasanti Pagoda has an interior carved with stories from Buddhist literature. The Water Fountain Garden is near the imposing Naypyitaw City Hall. There are so much more places to visit in Naypyitaw and it’s not too far from Yangon.
